The hard work of students and teachers has more than paid off at Great Baddow High School, with 33% of grades at A*-A, 54% at A*-B, 87% A*-C and a 99+% pass rate overall – all above national figures.
Headteacher, Carrie Lynch, is absolutely delighted for the students, their parents and teachers:
“The very high number of A*/A grades achieved are testament to hard work, determination and aspiration. We pride ourselves on the relationships between teachers and students which we think is a major contributor to students’ success, work ethic and confidence. So it is fantastic to see their delight and hear them discuss their next steps – to university for most, and apprenticeships for some. We were particularly pleased with the number of very high grades in maths, history, business studies and economics.”
