Students at Great Baddow High School have enjoyed sharing their results with friends and teachers and talking about the university courses they will now be following across the country.

Headteacher, Carrie Lynch, said;

“Our students have demonstrated the importance of hard work, determination and aspiration. We pride ourselves on the relationships between teachers and students which we think is a major contributor to students’ success, work ethic and confidence. So it is fantastic to see their delight and hear them discuss their next steps – to university for most with the vast majority achieving the grades needed for their first choice and many off to Russell Group universities.”

The latest edition of Magnus, the newsletter of Great Baddow High School, is now available to read on the school website.

Magnus - July 2019

At the end of a very successful year, one hundred and twenty-seven top attaining students from Great Baddow High School, along with proud members of their family, celebrated at the annual Key Stage Three Awards Evening. The awards evening is an opportunity to reward students for their academic successes over the past year, with prizes for the highest attainment and progress in each of the subjects. It is always a highlight of the school’s calendar; an event that supports the high levels of commitment required to achieve the very top levels, and celebrate the school’s culture where achievement is recognised and valued.

Students in Years 7-11 enjoyed a hugely competitive athletics competition as they took part in the annual District Athletics Championship at Chelmsford Athletics Stadium.
