Students are divided into two populations based (X and Y) on ability.
They receive 50 one hour lessons each fortnight.
Students who studied two languages in Years 7 and 8 focus on one in Year 9 except for a small group who have extended time for literacy and personal development.
Students follow creative pathways in the arts and technology subjects further developing their love of learning.
Students are set separately for English, Maths, Science, PE, Geography/History, Languages/Transition. This enables students to flourish and work in different groups for individual subjects.
