Oliver! is everything a great musical should be: gripping drama, unforgettable characters, and a soundtrack of iconic songs! From the moment the curtain rises on the orphanage workhouse, the audience is swept into a vivid world of Victorian London and the class-divide.
The show masterfully balances humour, excitement, and emotion. “Food, Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” and “You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two” fill the theatre with irresistible energy, while “Where Is Love?” and “As Long As He Needs Me” provide moving moments that highlight the heart of the story.

What makes Oliver! truly special is its colourful characters, bold storytelling, and uplifting finale. We root for the new-found friendship between Oliver and Dodger, panic at the sight of Bill Sikes, adore the mother and father-figure roles of Nancy, Bet and Fagin, and find humour in the crooked workings of Fagin's Gang of pickpockets. Oliver! is a musical that captures the imagination of all ages.
