Due to an issue with the water supply to the school site, that is outside of our control, GBHS will be closed on Tuesday 13th January 2026 for all students in years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12.

• School will be open for Year 11 students sitting their external DIT exams; these will proceed as planned.

• School will be open for Year 13 students sitting their external CTEC Business exam; these will proceed as planned.

These exams will contribute to students’ final outcomes; all students in Year 11 and CTEC Business students in Year 13 are expected to attend.

Students in Year 13 who are not sitting an examination do not need to attend tomorrow.

School buses will run in the morning, the 602 and 605a will pick up Year 11 and Year 13 students. Buses have been arranged to take students home after the exam, leaving site at approximately 11.15am.

Students working from home:

All classes will be set work to complete at home on EduLink for students in all year groups:

• Year 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 for all lessons.
• Year 11 periods 3-5 only.
