The Great Baddow High School Annual Open Evening for prospective students and parents will take place on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Sport Selection Scheme
Entry under the Sports Selection Scheme in September 2027 is available for students who do not meet criteria 1, 2 or 3 in our Admissions Policy.
If your child does not have a sibling already at Great Baddow High School, you can apply for admission through the Sports Selection Scheme, with up to 10% of Year 7 students selected for places on the basis of their aptitude for sport.

Please note that applications for secondary school places must be submitted by 31st October 2026.
It is the responsibility of parents to make an application for their child’s secondary school place via the Essex County Council application process. It is not necessary to wait to receive an application form or a letter before you apply.
