Year 9 Options Information 2021

To support students as they make their choices for their Key Stage Four options, a package of information has been created to support you and your child in understanding each subject in more depth, the process to make their choices and to help them make the right choice depending on where their interest lie and career aspirations.

Key Stage 4 Options Presentation

We recommend you start by watching the Key Stage 4 Options Presentation delivered by Mrs Mills and Mr Dexter; this will explain and guide you through the process.

Subject Presentations

Each subject area has created a short presentation to provide more information on their subject at KS4, how students will know if the subject is right for them to take, and why they should consider taking that subject at KS4. Included are presentations for the option subjects in addition to the core subjects such as maths and English; providing an insight into the curriculum, how they will be assessed and how the subject can springboard them into the future!
Please access the student presentations using the tabs at the bottom of this page or

Options Booklet

The options booklet provides the full details of the process to make options choices and details all the subjects available at KS4.

Virtual Careers Evening

To help you with GCSE options we are pleased to be able to invite you to the Great Baddow High School Virtual Careers Fair. Please download and explore the exhibitors in the Digital Careers Fair.
