Following the Government’s announcement last night we are now entering a second period of lockdown for several weeks.

We recognise that this will be difficult and unsettling for everyone, however, we are fully prepared to support our students with an extensive programme of remote learning.

The announcement that there will be no GCSE or A Level examinations this summer for Year 11 and 13 students raises many questions and uncertainties. Can I please reassure you that we will be doing all we can to ensure that students achieve the grades that they so richly deserve.

Separate letters to parents of Year 11, 12 and 13 students have been emailed today to provide further support and information. Copies of the letters can be found below.

We will continue to provide onsite education provision for children of keyworkers and students from key groups. This provision should only be accessed if it is essential and where possible students should learn from home to minimise transmission rates.
