Over the weekend three of the Great Baddow High School gymnastic teams competed in the Schools National Gymnastics Floor and Vault finals.

Already a brilliant achievement to get to this level, the three teams went on to compete in Stoke on Trent with the U19 mixed team, coming 5^th in the country, the U16 mixed team came 7^th in the country, and the U14 girls team came 9^th in the country.

This is a fantastic achievement and gives us a lot of confidence going forward into next year’s competitions.

We have never got an U14 girls’ team through to the national finals before, so that is an achievement in itself.

All of the students competed at their best and performed at a high level. They excelled themselves both individually and as a team.
