On Tuesday Great Baddow High School had a visit from the Charity Made for More, as part of their Hope is Here School Tour.  

We got the chance to do several activities based around the Nativity and how we can use the story of the nativity to help us in our every day lives, my favourite was the “light” activity we talked about how we can bring light to someone who is struggling or in a dark place.

We coloured in a touch and wrote down things we can think about or say to bring light. I also enjoyed the Hopes and dreams task, we all wrote our own hope and dreams on strips of paper and then we joined all our paper together to make a huge paper chain.

We talked about how we can use God to help us have hope.

"I really enjoyed the Made for More experience that was arranged for us. There were five different activities that were all crafty and had a message about God. Afterwards we got to ask questions to the team about the nativity side of Christmas. I had a lot of fun and want to do it again." Freya P (Year 8)
