To celebrate World Book Day this year Great Baddow High School has organised a week of activities for students and staff to take part in:. 

• There are fun book related daily challenges for students and staff.
• Different departments have book related activities for classes to try, such re-design a book cover, create a book trailer or diorama for their favourite books and create puppets of their favourite book characters.
• There are new fiction reading lists for extended reading.

Our School Library System, on the portal, is dedicated to World Book Day and reading this week.  Students and staff can keep up-to-date with all of the latest news for World Book Day, watch book related video clips, see suggested reading lists and much more.

For World Book Day our School Library Database is focussed on World Book Day. Although it is only accessible to students you can view the front page by clicking this link.  

This morning, parents were emailed a digital version of the £1 World Book Day book token. This can be used in most retailers in exchange for one of the £1 WBD books or for £1 discount on full priced books. 

Paper versions will be available in school from 8th March if requested.
