Great Baddow High School students celebrate a superb set of A Level results
Back to Latest NewsDespite the unprecedented circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic Great Baddow High School students were able to celebrate a superb set of results.
I would like to congratulate all the students for what they have achieved, the tremendous efforts and hard work they have put in and I wish them every success as they progress onto the next stage of their education, employment or training.
In line with all Mid-Essex secondary schools, we adopted a meticulous approach towards the Teacher Assessed Grades in which students undertook assessments in schools to support the process.
Thankfully, our students are now able to celebrate, as their A Level, BTEC and Level 3 grades will allow them to take up University places, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
All our students have real cause for celebration, and I would like to highlight the following individuals for their outstanding performance: -
Charlotte H achieved 4A* grades in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and PE. Charlotte is going on to study Medicine at Birmingham.
Luca G achieved 3A* grades in Maths, Physics and Geography and an A for EPQ. Luca is going on to study an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Swansea University.
Beth S achieved 3A* grades in Psychology, Geography and History. Beth is going on to study History at Exeter.
Shreya J achieved 2A* grades in Maths and Economics and 2 A grades in Biology and Chemistry. Shreya is going on to study Biomedical Science at University College London.
